FOG

Friends of God (or FOG) meet during Sunday Morning Service from 11.55am until 12.45am.   You can join from the age of three and don't have to leave until you are 15/16 when you are invited to train as a young leader in the FOG Squad.

Our aim is to help children to come to know Jesus in our teaching of the bible and to encourage them in their faith as they grow within the church family

Every Sunday we have great fun together learning all about Jesus and His love for us.  We sing choruses, say prayers, have bible lessons and then do worksheets or crafts relating to the lessons.  We also enjoy juice and biscuits together before we go home.

From September we hope to include some games and more craft to our Sunday morning activities.

We have a mascot (FOG) who is on the top of this page and also have a furry version of him.  Each Sunday someone gets the chance to take him home for the week and FOG really enjoys his weekly visits with all his friends in their different locations  Each year we have a Beetle Drive in March, a FOG weekend away (for children 8 years and over) in May, a Barbecue and special Children’s Day service with lunch for everyone afterwards in June and at Christmas we have a Nativity play where every child takes part and everyone enjoys the fun, telling about Jesus’ birth in story and song.

So come along and try us out.  We have great fun together.  There are 11 leaders at present on the FOG team who are all enthusiastic and full of fun. If you need any more information ring me (Margaret) at 028910456577 or maggsy51@yahoo.co.uk
