SNOG
Hey everyone, welcome to SN@G. SN@G stands for 'Sunday Night Out @ Garnerville' and is for young people aged 11+. We meet every Sunday night from 7-8:30pm in Garnerville Church with an aim of teaching, encouraging and supporting young people throughout their faith and life in general.
SN@G has been up and running for 6 years, with 12-15 young people coming on a weekly basis. It is an organisation for young people led by young people, Karen (24), Graeme (21), Caroline (17), Jenny (23) with loads of help from Peter (the Rev) who is a little older (but not much!). Using modern methods, power point, movie clips, drama and music we learn together about God, we attend youth events across Northern Ireland such as Youth Night and the MAD weekend and generally have fun knowing that ‘We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength’ Philippians 4 v 13.
We organise an annual service so we can let the congregation know what we do every Sunday night and through the year. All leaders and most members take part and it has become a highlight of the church year - we hope! It's a good introduction to the group so why not come to the next one?
Sound good?? Then why not come along, SN@G is an opportunity to meet other young people in a safe environment, play games, have a laugh, relax and learn about God in a relevant, fun and modern way. We would love to see you there!
Why not contact us if you or your parents would like more info on what we do, or if you want to hear from the young people who already go mo_mcgarvey@hotmail.com.
